If it isn't already installed on your computer, you might need to additionally download the following MSVC++ redistributible (select vc_redist.x64.exe).
To play solo (Windows):
- Double click gnomes.exe!
To host a server (Windows):
- Enable port forwarding on your router
- Forward port 54000 (default) to your PC's local IP address
- Hit "Host Game" in gnomes.exe OR run gnome_server.exe
To play quest native (Quest- cannot act as host!):
- "Side load" gnometower-release.apk onto your quest (using adb or sidequest)
- Run gnome_server.exe on your PC
- Connect to your PC's local IP address (and port 54000 if using default)
- Warning: the quest version is in-progress, and may suffer performance issues
Bugs:
- gnomes don't grab objects to build
- zones do nothing
- quest2 build not included in latest version (0.0.34) (contact @phildo if you want to test!)
